Hi! My name is Jennifer Zhang.
I come from Hong Kong. The photos on the left my sister took of me when we went for breakfast one morning. We saw the background of the shadow view; it was very beautiful, so she took the photos of me. My sister loves taking photos.
This photo was taken Chinese New Year of 2022. This was taken in my home. My parents take a photo every year on Chinese New Year . I’m very lucky to have an older sister and a younger brother, and when I am bored, we would chat or play with each other. I’m really privileged have them.
Last year I went hiking with my sister and father. The mountain is very high, I took 3 hours to hike to the top of mountain. It was very tiring, but when we finally climbed to the top of the mountain, we felt very joyful. It was amazing to look at the amazing scenery below. We watched the sun set over the mountains of HK. It really was spectacular. A joyful day spent with my Dad and dear Sister.
This is when I went to Hong Kong Disney Land with my sister last year during the Summer Holiday. That day we got up early. We got dressed quickly and left the house early. The reason was we wanted to get to Disney Land early so we didn’t have to stand in queues for too long. It always gets so busy there. It was a bit of a pity that were some places that we could not go because it rained that day, but we took a lot of photos and commemorated a very happy time.
These four of photos are the Causeway Bay Shopping Centre where we like to shop. I would take many street view photos as a souvenir. This is the oldest part of Hong Kong, it looks very old and I get a feeling of nostalgia, every time I go to these places with my mother or my sister. Weather permitting, we like to go shopping there. It also gives me the opportunity to take many interesting photos.
Last year Christmas, my sister, brother and I went to the West Kowloon Cultural District There was a huge Christmas tree and with the sun setting behind it. It gave me the most wonderful photo opportunity.
At night, many streets are decorated beautifully. My sister took these photos. I think they are amazing.
I like to make healthy smoothies for my family. My mum really enjoyed this one!
I have many hobbies but really enjoy painting and drawing.
With Omicron so bad in HK now we had to stay inside for may days.
Here is one of my paintings. It took me a long time to paint, but I am very proud of them.
